Awkwafina

Awkwafina was an American actor and musician. She started by releasing hilarious, intelligently composed lyrics in rap that dealt with questions of racial identity and sexuality. Later, she broadened her audience to Hollywood. Born Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean immigrants from Forest Hills Queens her first taste of musician life came in the form of the trumpet. Her classical, jazz and hip-hop training began as she was a teenager. In college, she concentrated on her studies, and then studied women's studies and journalism. While she was for a brief amount of time in Beijing, Mandarin language classes were offered as well. She turned her attention towards music after she graduated. Her song My Vag, a response track to Mickey Avalon's My Dick gained viral popularity on the Internet in the year 2012. The track was later included in the album debut Yellow Ranger released in 2014. The album also contained also were viral songs like Queef (body-positive) as well as NYC Bitche$. This track was directly linked into another venture Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide, which was published in the year 2015. Her resume included both the musician and author. The singer was seeking to further her career in acting. Apart from early series like Girl Code and Tawk she was also featured in movies such as Neighbors 2 Storks as well as Bad Rap. In the year 2018 she got an array of noteworthy performances, which included Dude Ocean 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. This June, she released her EP "In Fina We Trust".
